ReplyDeleteBamboos DOES have an awesome S curve. What threw this picture off for me was the DOF - having only the centre bamboo in focus, framed by two equally powerful shapes that are essentially outside the DOF and therefore blurred really detracts from the overall impact this image could have. I also find the top of the leaf being apparent only on the right hand bamboo draws my attention to the blurred bamboo and not towards the focussed centre bamboo.
